AEAS International Marketing Events for Australian schools
AEAS has organised highly successful international student recruitment events in key source markets for over 30 years.
AEAS events bring together leading Australian schools, quality education agents, and families considering high school study in Australia for their children.
Regular in country visits are an important of Australian schools developing a strong brand in key source markets. AEAS events are specifically designed for the school sector, and offer schools the opportunity to build relationships with education agents, meet new parents and students, and maintain their connections with alumni and past parents.
Australian school specific events also make an important contribution to building the profile of the Australian school sector in key source markets. Individual schools may find their individual marketing efforts to be more effective as a result of combined marketing and promotional efforts.
This was my first time attending an AEAS event and I found it to be very well organised and the AEAS staff friendly and helpful. The families were interested and positive, and I am very hopeful that we will receive further enquiries and enrolments from this event.
The event was obviously highly successful with a great buzz in the room! It was a lovely opportunity to network with schools around Australia too. Thank you!
What types of events does AEAS organise?
AEAS currently offers three types of events to Australian schools, English language colleges and ancillary service providers
- Australian Schools Exhibitions
- Australian Schools – Education Agent Workshops
- Seminars for Australian schools
From time to time, AEAS will also offer School to School Workshops or seminars in key countries to explore opportunities for new relationships and partnerships. In 2019, such events were held in Shanghai, China and Hanoi, Vietnam.
Australian Schools Exhibitions

- Enable schools to utilise the in-market knowledge presented by Austrade and also held by coorganising education agents (where relevant) and AEAS China staff
Education agent workshops

Australian Schools Events
Following our inaugural events in India in 2024, AEAS is once again collaborating with Acumen (part of Sannam S4) to arrange a series of events and activities to grow awareness of Australian schooling in this burgeoning school sector market.
India is a heavily agent-reliant market, and building relationships with like-minded quality agencies will be crucial to the development of the school sector in its infancy. For this reason we have chosen to bundle the Agent Workshop and Parent Exhibitions in each city in 2025, as these events are complementary and their objectives work in tandem.
NOTE: Schools wishing to participate in only one event type in either city must contact tracey@stg.aeas.com.au to arrange a discussion before proceeding to register.
